Ladies and Gentlemen: Start Your Engines!

Two Trucks. Two Trailers. Two Grandparents....... Here we go!

I have written a lot today in my other entries about where we have been, and where we are going. Today's highlights:

• We woke at 5 am and left at 8 am.
• We stopped 4 times and for lunch at Cracker Barrel.
• We arrived to our destination, Stuart, IA at 5 pm. (Yes Folks, we did not clear IA today, but that was our plan.)
• We only ran the wheelchair off the ramp once.
• The U-Haul trailer door jammed as our mattresses shifted.
• The lift won't fit under the bed and the BZ Board broke in transport.

HOWEVER, it was a success!  A lot of you have been asking, Yes, Popsie drove the first two hours, and I drove the rest.  With all of that said, traffic was light, the weather was perfect, and we ate dinner with a smile.  I was able to swim a few laps, take a hot shower, and enjoy some fun talks with Popsie.
